Ongoing Projects
Grampy's House is kicking off a new "Green Initiative" project to help save the environment. We are collecting old cell phones and used printer cartridges to be recycled. We are accepting all makes and brands of cell phones and all brands of InkJet and Laser cartridges. We cannot accept toner barrels at this time. We will be placing collection boxes around town, so please check back often for an updated list of drop sites. Any and all local businesses that would like to help out by letting us place a collection box at your place of business, please feel free to contact us!

Lastly, we are also collecting empty aluminum cans to be recycled. Just bag them up and bring them to Grampy's House, 1132 W. Market Street, Lima, Ohio 45805. Drop them off and we'll do the rest! We thank you all for you continued support for Grampy's House!!

In May we will be handing out orange ribbons in celebration of National Visitation Month!Grampy's House is currently looking for recipes to add to our new cookbook that we will have available for sale in May. We are also looking for children that would like to help design the cover for the cookbook.
Also in May, Grampy's House is holding a spaghetti dinner at the Lima F.O.P Hall at 750 Robb Avenue in Lima. The dinner will be held on May 2nd, 2008. It starts at 5:00PM. The price is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children 10 and under. There will be dine-in and carryout available. Dine-in dinners will include spaghetti, meat sauce, meatballs, breadsticks, salad and cake. Carryout dinners will include spaghetti, meat sauce, meatballs and breadsticks.

Come join us for our 7th Annual Golf Scramble. It's being held at the Springbrook Golf Course on June 7th, 2008. It will be a 4 person best ball scramble. Your ticket includes dinner, door prizes, raffles and golf games. Corporate sponsor = 1 team $500, 1 hole and advertisement. 1 team = $200, 4 persons includes golf cart and dinner.
